The Group 4 System

The methodology
is the product.

Most consultancies sell hours and a spreadsheet. Group 4 runs a defined method — a live cost-coded register with dashboards and reporting built from twenty years of close-outs. It runs in your project's platform (Procore, Aconex, PlanRadar or your own), or on Group 4's own register when you don't have one. You don't have to take it on faith. You can see it.

CAPTURE

One register, cost-coded

Every defect logged once: located, photographed, severity-rated, assigned, priced and cost-coded. Commercial exposure is a number on a dashboard, not a surprise at settlement.

CONTROL

Standardised inspections

Checklists and protocols standardised across stages and trades, so nothing depends on memory or goodwill, and nothing closes without reinspection.

REPORT

Signature reporting

Close-out velocity, exposure by trade and cost code, readiness for PC: reporting clients can't get elsewhere, in a format a board can read in two minutes.

Why it matters to you

What the system changes on your project.

  • No more competing lists. Client, contractor and trades all work from one register, so argument becomes evidence.
  • Exposure quantified early. Cost-coding means you know what close-out will cost months before it can hurt you.
  • Readiness is measurable. "Are we going to make PC?" gets a number, a trend line and a straight answer.
  • The record survives. Every inspection, photo, price and sign-off is kept, a defensible file if anything is ever contested.

sample project data.

The demo below runs the actual dashboard on a representative project of 214 apartments, 6 trades and 12 weeks to practical completion. Filter the register, sort the exposure, read the reports.
